During this time of heightened awareness surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus), Gracie Mansion will be temporarily postponing our public tours until further notice. Getting to Gracie Mansion

Gracie Mansion is accessible by public transportation.

VIA SUBWAY: Take the 4 5 6 trains to 86th Street. Walk 5 blocks east to East End Avenue, then two blocks north to 88th Street.

Or take the Q to 86th Street and 2nd Avenue. Walk 3 blocks east to East End Avenue, then two blocks north to 88th Street.

VIA BUS: Take the crosstown M86 or the M31 which run on York Avenue, to York Avenue and 88th Street. Walk one block east to East End Avenue.

NYC Ferry: Take the NYC Ferry (Soundview Route)  NYC FERRY to the East 90th Street Ferry Landing and walk south 2 blocks. Gracie Mansion will be
located West of the waterway.

There is no parking at Gracie Mansion.

Security & Additional Information

At the present time we are only providing tours in English and soon hope to expand to other languages.

Group tours are reserved through an email request. If you are part of a private organization or association that would like to tour the house, please email your request including your name, size of your organization, and nature of the proposed group, to

Please note that the Gracie Mansion Conservancy information line has changed to 212-676- 3060; however, we only accept reservations online so please do not leave tour requests there.

Gracie Mansion is wheelchair accessible. Please arrive 10 minutes prior tour time.

Photo ID is required for entrance. No photography permitted in the interior. Please plan to arrive at least ten minutes in advance.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, the following: book bags,
backpacks, food and beverages of any kind, strollers, video cameras, selfie sticks, tobacco products, any pointed objects (pens, knitting needles, etc.), aerosol containers, guns, ammunition, fireworks, electric stun guns, mace, martial arts weapons/devices, or knives of any size. The NYPD reserves the right to prohibit any other personal items.

Umbrellas, wallets, compact cameras with a lens no longer than 3 inches, cell phones and car keys are permitted.

Come prepared; there are no storage facilities on-site.
