Rick Miramontez is the president of O&M Co., one of the leading theatrical press offices in New York City with clients on and off Broadway. Miramontez is responsible for PR campaigns for a number of recent Tony® Award winning productions including Fun Home, Kinky Boots, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Clybourne Park, Hair and The Normal Heart, to name but a few. Current and recent projects also include It’s Only A Play, Here Lies Loves, Sleep No More, Side Show, Hand to God, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark and this season’s School of Rock-The Musical, King Charles III, Allegiance, and Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games. He began his career as the press director of the Center Theatre Group / Ahmanson Theatre where he organized the campaigns for more than 25 major productions in Los Angeles. From 1988-1996, Miramontez headed his own firm, Rick Miramontez Company, which represented many of the major arts events on the West Coast, including the American Premiere of Sunset Boulevard, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Cirque du Soleil, Los Angeles Festival, and Pasadena Playhouse, among others. In New York, Miramontez made an early mark on Broadway as part of the campaigns for Hairspray, Sweeney Todd, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Rent, and Long Day’s Journey Into Night, to name a few, alongside friends and colleagues Richard Kornberg, John Barlow and Michael Hartman.
